30 Mar Amazing Artists in Year 2!
The children have thoroughly enjoyed creating an art galley and welcoming their families to the view their masterpieces. The children have learnt about famous artists such as Alma Thomas, L.S. Lowery and Barbara Hepworth. The children used the art work of these famous artists to inspire their own art using printing, drawing with charcoal and sculpting with clay.
The children then reflected on which medium they wanted to use to create their final masterpiece to exhibit in the art gallery.
What amazing artists they are!
