Beddington Infants’ school has historically had outstanding outcomes for the children who have attended the school. All stakeholders are constantly evaluating the provision to provide for the children additional opportunities to develop the whole child. This school is committed to Inclusion.
On-going assessment is an integral aspect of day-to-day learning, informing planning and enabling staff to support every child in making progress across the curriculum. Data is collated half termly giving us useful information about trends across the school.
At the end of Reception and Year 2 the data is submitted nationally.
Our outdoor provision includes learning based on a Forest School philosophy. Our aim is to fully embed Forest School practice within our setting using it to extend and enrich the learning already taking place.
