27 Jan Trip to Holy Trinity Church
Reception had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Holy Trinity Church!
When we arrived, we spent time exploring the church and learning about its key features. The stained glass windows captured a lot of the children’s attention. They enjoyed spotting the different colours and pictures, talking about the stories they might tell. The children were also very lucky and were able to ring the church bell. It took a lot of strength, but they are used to bell ringing as they ring the bell in our bell tower at the end of each term!
The trip helped bring our learning to life and supported our discussions about special places. It was a lovely experience and the children found the activities very engaging. Thank you to everyone for making us so welcome!
