06 Nov Reception’s Trip to Beddington Park!
Reception were very excited this week to take part in their first school trip! The children were fantastic at walking sensibly and crossing the road with their partners. Once we got to Beddington Park we completed three different activities. Pupils enjoyed making bark rubbings using the tree trunks, collecting a range of natural materials and going on a woodland walk where they drew all the things they could see in their autumn booklets.
We saw lots of exciting things including a very large green tractor cutting the grass, lots and LOTS of fallen leaves, mushrooms growing in the wet soil and even a pumpkin left for the animals to eat!
Thank you to all the adults who volunteered their time and accompanied us and well done to all the Reception children for being so sensible on their first trip!
