We were delighted to host an event for Nursery and Reception Teachers from schools across the London Borough of Sutton. The event was organised by Nick Banham, Sutton Senior Early Years Advisor and the London South Early Years Stronger Practice Hub. We were pleased to welcome, Nicola McGarrell, Early Years Hub Lead and Daniela Jamois. Daniela led a session entitled Designing and Explaining your Ambitious Curriculum – school-based settings, which was very useful. Liz Kearney led a session on Learning Naturally, the Beddington Infants’ School methodology.

Following the talk, everyone toured the school to see our Outstanding Early Years provision, including our newly re-furbished Nursery. Everyone really enjoyed talking to the children, exploring the learning environment and talking to staff.
