25 Feb Exploring in Year 2!
The children in Year 2 are excited to start their new topic Muck, Mess and Mixtures! They used their observational skills to explore how a range of substances look, smell and feel. They explored substances such as soap, shaving foam, flour, bubble bath, toothpaste, jelly, mouthwash, washing up liquid, vinegar and many more! They then used their amazing writing skills to describe each substance using descriptive noun phrases. Finally they formed their questions to explore making mixtures and investigated them. What fun it is being a scientist!
